Main GDT screen:

Slow Down and Pitch Shift Music

Download Guitar and Drum Trainer to slow down music and learn easier. The main Guitar & Drum Trainer screen is where you seek through music, create music loops, slow down music, pitch shift music, and generally spend most of your time as you practice your instrument or transcribe music. Waveforms and EQ visuals are customizable. See below for more information.

Main Stereo EQ screen:

The Uber-EQ to Filter Instruments from Music

The new Uber-EQ in GDT lets you tweak out equalizer settings independently for both left and right stereo channels. Combined with the new vocal removal features, you can add back in instruments, or rip them out by adjusting 1 EQ channel in the right frequency ranges. No other music slow downer gives you anything remotely as powerful for learning new music or transcribing music.

The EQ screenshot here is for adding vocals back into a song after the GDT vocal remover had stripped out vocals, bass, and drums.

More information on the GDT 62-band stereo equalizer.

Main Looping & Controls screen:

Save Music Loops

Save music loops, adjust music tempo, change music pitch, tweak out settings, or use the GDT Speed Trainer to improve accuracy and speed. The GDT "Controls & Options" screen lets you control the most common and useful GDT settings while you slow down and learn or transcribe music.

Saved music loops can be restored with a click, or saved into *.gdt song configuration files to load later on so that you can pick up where you left off.

Colors screen:

Cool colors and beat detection

More than just cool colors and visualizations, the "Waveforms and Colors" screen lets you tweak out waveform display and EQ visualizations settings. Toggle the EQ visualizations off, display musical notes on top of the EQ, or add in simple beat detection on top of the waveforms.

Fully customizable, and fully functional. Everything in there helps you more easily visualize the music so that what you see and what you hear are in sync, making learning new music or transcribing music simpler, easier, and more fun!

Beat Detection:

Cool colors and beat detection

Need help when setting some loop points? Turn on beat detection to display simple beat lines on the waveforms that let you more clearly visualize the music as you listen.

Vocal Removal and Karoke:

Remove centered or non-centered audio with GDT Vocal Removal and Karaoke Mixer

The world's most versatile and powerful music slow downer software just got a massive boost with vocal removal features that can turn your computer into a total karaoke machine.

The new vocal removal functions let you remove center panned audio or non-center panned audio. You can tweak instruments back into the mix, or remove them by adjusting the EQ properly.

Vocal and instrument removal is not exact, and while it works perfectly for one song, it may not work at all for the next one. However, a little practice with the GDT vocal and instrument remover along with the stereo EQ will help produce astounding results.

Speed & Pitch Encoder:

Save Slowed Down Music

Save slowed down music or pitch shifted music with the new GDT Speed & Pitch Encoder.

Music is saved in FLAC, but downloading LAME lets you also save MP3s.
