ALZip has some really cool new Vista style icons and on Windows Vista they're just incredible. So I put up a PNG of the new ALZip desktop icon, but then on my Korean computer which has IE6, I remembered that IE6 just doesn't handle PNGs. Here's a comparison of the PNG and the GIF:

Tony Chor posted about IE7 having 100 million installations recently in his MSDN blog, but I don't think that's quite enough to make the GIF to PNG jump.

Anyways, if you're interested in some pretty cool software, hop on over to www.altools.net and check out the new ALZip. It's cuter than ever and very much worth the download.
