When you're not Hell Bent for Leather, you might as well be Strummin' With The Devil. While it may sound crazy to hear Van Halen done in a bluegrass style, it's actually very cool! Check out the web site (link above) for a listen to "Jamie's Cryin'" and previews to more classic Van Halen tunes. You'll be suprised. David Lee Roth has an all-star line-up of top-notch musicians on this and they do not disappoint.
Some of the other previews at the web site you can listen to include "Dance the Night Away" (a personal favorite of mine), “Runnin' with the Devil", and "I'll Wait".
I have yet to see it in a store here, But I'll NOT wait to get this one. I just couldn't wait so I ended up ordering it online. Van Halen done in bluegrass? Huh? This I've just got to hear! (But the shipping was almost as much as the CD! Sometimes it sucks to live in Korea.)
Cheers,
Ryan
(Cheers to AL & Mike at PSN for the heads-up on this one!)
