So I get an email from someone about their WMA music being rendered useless by DRM. Anyways, I found a couple utilities that can strip DRM from WMA files. You can find them here:
http://www.typo.co.il/msdrm2/ - Freeme.zip http://www.fliptbit.com/apps.html - unfuck_setup.exe (Got to love that name~! How eternally appropriate!)
You need to have a license for the content that you're stripping the DRM from though. As I don't buy any DRM protected music (and I couldn't anyways because sales policies are set by morons and I don't live in the right country for that... grrr...) I haven't been able to test them.
However, I'm just throwing it out there for anyone that may be interested in playing their music as they want to.
Cheers,
Renegade
