So someone illegally obtains a copy of my friend's medical history, and then proceeds to disseminate it and use it to assassinate his political career. Nice. Like how bloody mature is that? It's purely malicious with no real substance behind it. It's not like there is anything that actually makes the medical records relevant. But, politics are politics. (The courts here seem to be useless to help out in these kinds of situations.)

This sort of stuff only reaffirms my beliefs that Machiavellian politics are really the only way to get things done. It's a vicious arena, and you really have to be the most vicious in there to survive until the end.

I really think that the only realistic thing that could be done is really, highly illegal, and not something that most people could do themselves. And that's sad. But I suppose that's the dirthole of a world we live in. What ticks me off is how self-righteous people are, and how "ethical" people are when it suits their needs. Hypocrisy drives me nuts. These same douche bags that will blatantly break the law in one place (illegally obtaining medical records) would scream bloody murder if someone actually sorted them out they way they should be sorted.

Sadly,

Ryan

Re: Political Assassination

isn't it illegal to obtain someone's medical history to attack them on their career front?
