Now lithium batteries are banned according to the New York Times. Good grief! It seems like almost everything is banned now when travelling by air.
But there is no ban on raw flint as far as I know... How about those zippo flints? Or what about old people? I hear that spontaneous combustion is on the rise! Can't be too careful about those old fogeys suddenly blowing up.
How about addressing a real threat...
No eating baked beans or cabbage for 24 hours before flying! Imagine an airplane full of old people after a nice hearty meal of beans with zippo flints in their pockets! You'd skip right from the fire to the explosion!
Don't believe me? Try doing a “blue angel“ the next time you have to let a fart rip! Just put a lighter to your butt and squeeze that good old methane out your poop chute. POOF! You've got a blue flame squirting out your poofter. Now imagine an airplane full of that.
Ban beans! They're more sinister than most people realize...
Cheers,
Ryan
