So this time around I'm over at the Dayglo Abortions MySpace page and they've got their music for sale online through the MySpace payment thingy - http://www.snocap.com/.

So I say to myself, “Hey, this is just people out to sell things online... Let's try it out...”

Reading through their site the music is WMA DRM'd... Grrr... That's OK though. I really want to buy the music because the Dayglos are one of my favorite bands and I'll just burn it to CD then rip it to a non-DRM'd format anyways then use it in a sane manner (i.e. Where *I* want to play it... and that's not inside of some DRM'd crapware. Yes - I LOATHE DRM!)

They have PayPal. Excellent because I hate paying through other systems. So I sign up for an account. Easy enough. 

Ok - selected a few songs to buy as a test. They send me to PayPal to set things up... ERROR! I knew it! It's too good to be true... Buying music online is still too good to be true.

Just how hard is it to get this stuff right? Apparently it's totally impossible. Just another excercise in futility...

Ok - rant over.

If you're somehow involved in the sale of music online... PLEASE!!! Do me and the rest of the world outside of the USA a little favor... Let us actually give you our money! ;)
