We all have our pet peeves. Number and normalization are my two big ones. Here, I go over the general problem of not being able to count, and give an explanation of an error that people make along with where the error lies. The example is about "percent" as a unit of measure. However, by the end of my ramblings, problems of number degenerates into a high-level overview of Heraclitean temporal issues of flux and contextual problems with implications for problems between discrete and non-discrete systems.
