I just about never do things the same way twice. I always end up looking for a better way to do things. Well, not really that case this time, but I couldn't remember the AM/PM string formatters, so I do a quick search and turn up with http://www.blackwasp.co.uk/CSharpDateManipulation.aspx. It's got a very good treatment of things there.
I generally search online rather than go to the Visual Studio MSDN library documentation because the library is rather slow, and I'm not all that patient. ;)
