Windows 7 64 bit issue with install and .NET 2.0 Framework from Microsoft (United Kingdom)

I had GDT3 on my PC and now would like to upgrade to GDT4 and run it on my new Windows 7 64 bit laptop.

I downloaded GDT4 but when I tried to install .NET 2.0 from the link in the readme.txt it does not install on Windows 7 64 bit.

1) Any suggestions to get the required .NET 2.0 in place

2) Will I need a new license number once I install GDT4?

Hello Charles,

Windows Vista and Windows 7 ship with .NET 2.0 already in them, so you don't need to install it. It's already there.

And no - you do not need a new license for GDT 4. Have a read here:

Your GDT 3 license will work with GDT 4.
