I was able to export it using the FLAC encoder, no problem. And while that isn't a common file format for playback, I was able to open it in Audacity and then save it as an mp3 from there -- sounds great. I'm wondering if there's a problem with the LAME encoder.
I originally installed the LAME encoder in Audacity. Later, when I tried to export the file from GDT to mp3 it gave a message that the LAME.exe needed to be copied to the GDT directory, so I did. Maybe I did this wrong? I ran it, just like I did when doing it for Audacity -- except I chose the Renegade Minds > Guitar And Drum Trainer directory...
What I had to do above is somewhat workable -- I mean, I can get a file made. But it's very bulky (going from Audacity to create an mp3/wma, to GDT to create an FLAC, to Audacity again to convert it mp3.) If I could debug this I'd be a much happier person. :)
Oh, as for the tags, I don't have much data. My guess is they were tags from earlier work that came up as default values. I didn't do the initial rip and didn't change any of the tags as I did my work...
