How to adjust Bitrate  (Germany)
Modified By seppi on 3/6/2010 4:34:20 PM)

Hi,

saving pitch-shifted files as mp3 (with addon lame.exe) will always result in mp3 with 384kb.
Is it possible to adjust the bitrate before saving the file?

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to adjust Bitrate  (Australia)

Hello Seppelhuber,

At the moment, no. I didn't see any point in reducing quality as disk space is so cheap. But, that will come in a future version. I'll make it a set of "Advanced" options, but leave the defaults as they are unless you specify otherwise. The logic behind it is to keep the quality as high as possible.

Regards,

Ryan

Hello Ryan,

Thanks for your response.
Yes - disk space is really cheap, but I'm playing in a Band and share my slowed-down and/or pitch-shifted mp3-files via webspace with my band colleagues. One of them has a 384kb internet connection , so it takes a while to download a 10MB song. And in quality aspect it's no good solution to de- and encode again. So I look forward to get the future version with advanced options .

Thanks again and best regards,

Seppi
